Free Open Courseware Offers Learning to Anyone/Anywhere/Anytime

The non-profit Khan Academy offers free world-class online learning for K-12 Common Core subjects. I ran across this outstanding technology web-based resource today while researching open courseware and was astounded at what is being offered free to anyone. Take tests at home or in a computer lab, not in class

Related to "lectures at home, homework at school," it's not that hard to make tests a web-based experience that's more-or-less cheat proof. This also opens up the idea of online certificates for course credit like the Mozilla Badges project http://goo.gl/BMW4N
