I just helped write a grant through the MSET organization for money for a Mimio Teach Interactive System. It's an interactive whiteboard without the board. A magnetic bar is placed on any magnetic surface and comes with an interactive pen that works with your computer to make it function. I am excited to use it with my Geometry unit I'm about to begin. Through the software and learning community I've found plane and solid shapes that can be manipulated and examined with the Mimio. Currently, my students have been using it along with interactive websites to demonstrate learning and get used to using the pen. It's extremely motivating and the students are very engaged as they watch other students interact.
