Courses for virtually every class should be online FIRST and remain available forever. This way students and teachers can always return to their materials, and the crucial step of organizing a course or class can take place in a collaborative environment--the Internet
Cutting edge science and creative work is not far from the sandbox. Curricula at all levels can be informed by and inform cutting edge research, and the internet can be a conduit for communication between University and corporate research and schools. We might be surprised by what we learn from younger students.

A location for teachers to view lessons implemented in a classroom. The lessons would be based on best-practices and research based. Each lesson would include a video of a teacher implementing the lesson.
New high quality text-to-speech voices allow computers and mobile devices to deliver interactive, takling tutorials. Wikipedia has shown how reference material can be authored collaboratively. Now we need to collaborate on learning materials. http://slidespeech.org
